Bosch SHX98M09UC - Review
Today we will be reviewing the Bosch SHX98M09UC. The grounds of our reviews are normally based upon experimentation and analysis, opinions and research that we put together every time we choose to review a product. Today it will be no different and we will try to present an unbiased and as-complete-as-possible review of this popular model of the Bosch Company.
We can start by pointing out that this dishwasher is incredibly light. It is possible to be maneuvered by one person. Attention, we are not stating it is as light as a microwave! It is just light for a complex model of dishwasher and therefore can be place into the right spot by a single person and easily by two.
Along with the easiness of carrying comes the easiness of using it. The SHX98M09UC comes with a very easily understandable instruction manual making it fairly simple for anyone – even a non accustomed first time user to take full advatange of it's power. From what we could see for ourselves it is very user-friendly. That being noted it is not any suprise that the control pannel presented on the top of the door is also piece of cake.
Moving to the design part it is known for being a very stylish machine and for what we could see, live it's even better looking. Full-front stainless steel design alligned with a good looking display in the front amkes a killer combination for a beautiful dishwaher for every stylish kitche out there. The catch here is that hte inside is alos in stainless which as the matter of fact happens to be a great heat retaining material. Also important are the adjustable top rack along with the removable holders. The drain comes with a filter racket which is easily removable and cleanable. Besides that users have claimed that they haven't needed to empty it for months...
Its energy consumption is the same as most of its competitors out there and the majority of users do not notice a change in their electric bills. Just as well the water comsumption stays among the normal limits not presenting any sort of disadvantage to this piece.
As far as cleaning performance goes, the SHX98M09UC receives a grade A+. It is notorious the efficiency of it's cleaning. Dishes come out spotless and almost 100% of customers have presented great amount of satisfaction. Along with its cleaning comes the noise, which, in this model, is almost inexisting. No exagerations there. It is almost impossible to hear it working being 5 feet away from it.
“So silent you wonder if it's working or not” John C. Dubain
On the other hand dishes might come out not as dry as some people would expect. It has been noticed a good amount of complaints regarding the dryness of the prodcuts after the Auto-washing function.
Just as well, the downside of its design is the fact that the stainless steel look makes it a little easier to leave fingerprints and other marks on it.
Well that basically sums it up. Some people swear it is worth the money, otherssay it is possible to find better ones in the market. Soon we will be reviewing one great competitor of Bosch, the Kenmark Elite.
Cheers!
